It was a family photo outing. Brian, Selena and I all packed up our camera's and bundled up and off we went. We spent better than an hour out at For-Mar Nature Preserve and we probably could have spent longer but it was a bit cold. It is nice that we all have photos from different perspectives. I hope to finally be posting some of Brian's photos for you on his page after this walk.
The other thing we did is set up our 1TB external hard drive so that we can both save our photos wirelessly to our own folders. We both shoot RAW and that takes up way too much space to save these photos on our computers. But by shooting RAW it allows for editing while keeping the most light and the original photo in tack. We are learning so much. Also, today I took my white balance off auto and put it in Cloudy as it was overcast today. I found you can really see the difference in your photos in different types of light.
I had fun shooting the various scenes and I even managed to get a few cool bird photos too. I can't wait to get a better zoom lens for my bird photos. I really enjoy shooting them.
Here are a couple of photos that I enjoyed from today, but check out my photo page and scroll to the very bottom for today's adventure and you can also check out Brian's page.
I am embarking on a new hobby with my husband. An interest I had as a child has recently been reignited. This blog is an outline of my journey as I learn the skill of photography and maintaining a journal through photo and video medium.
