It was sunny, in the 40's, not raining or snowing and we were both home. What a great opportunity to combine a dog walk with a photo walk. We took advantage of the day and put our big rubber boots on and grabbed our camera's and our dogs. It was wet and mushy but we had opportunity to take enjoy our hobby together. The dogs loved just walking free, no leash and wondering in the weeds. Brian had his Macro lens and I had my 55-300mm zoom lens. This gave us each some different perspective. I enjoyed my favorite model, my dog, Mac as well as some pretty cool photos of the moon in the daytime sky. I also posted a few cool photos from the early morning fog from late last week. It is just so fun to see the world this way.
Brian finally has some photos on the "Brian's Pics" page too. You can see that we are so different in the way we see what God is showing us. But the cool thing is that we are able to share with each other and appreciate the view this way.
We leave in just a few weeks for our annual trip to Guatemala and I can't wait to see how we both take photos of the same trip and yet see how different they are. I am excited for the continuing adventure that God has in store for us both as travelers and as photographers. We experience the same things so differently and then bring it all together so that we can make it one amazing trip for the couple known as "us".
I am embarking on a new hobby with my husband. An interest I had as a child has recently been reignited. This blog is an outline of my journey as I learn the skill of photography and maintaining a journal through photo and video medium.
