So, I have added a new photo to the Scripture Photos album from photos I took yesterday. Yesterday was a tough day to take photos. I had Mac (my dog) on a leash for a walk while taking my camera along in hopes of grabbing a few good shots. I have now learned the hard way, my photo gray lenses on my glasses are not my friend for figuring out the correct lighting on my camera. Along with it being bright and snowy, I was attempting to adjust my lighting setting according to what I could see. Well, what I was seeing was not what I needed to be seeing. I will have to use my glasses in my viewfinder while outside for focus and then look through the viewfinder without my glasses for brightness and lighting. Just what I need, one more thing to throw in the mix LOL.
On another note, Brian is considering getting rid of his Nikon D70 and also getting a Nikon D3300 so we can learn the same thing together. Our plan for this afternoon is to go outside with both of our cameras and set them up identically. Then we will come in and compare photos and see if there really is much difference. I don't expect a huge difference in quality, but maybe ease of use. So we may finally get some photos from Brian's camera and in his album a little later today.

I am embarking on a new hobby with my husband. An interest I had as a child has recently been reignited. This blog is an outline of my journey as I learn the skill of photography and maintaining a journal through photo and video medium.
