It has been a crazy day and I haven't been able to spend a lot of extra time on my photo journey. Alas, I couldn't go a day without posting some things though. I have some from yesterday working in the sunlight and snow. That much light is crazy. I couldn't even read the meter setting on my camera in that bright light. So this brought me up to reading on how to shoot photos on snowy, sunny days. Also with reading about the rule of 16 which is talking about an f-stop of 16 as a starting point, I also read a little bit about using aperture priority.
I have been working so hard on trying to go full manual on my settings that I didn't really think about the priority settings. So today while at the church, I took a few photos with my Priority Aperture setting and paid attention to what happened to shutter speed and if I needed to change ISO settings.
So here below I will post some photos I like but on my album page I will post them all. Some are real whitewash photos and hard to see but some turned out far better than expected. The photos at the church are Priority aperture and the photos of my front yard are still with manual settings.
I am embarking on a new hobby with my husband. An interest I had as a child has recently been reignited. This blog is an outline of my journey as I learn the skill of photography and maintaining a journal through photo and video medium.
